Summer time succulents

2010 brought us the opportunity to use alot of succulents--we loved them in bouquets and this bouquet was no exception.
We have made this version of orange and green a few times, each time just a little different to meet the brides vision.

I loved this sweet bouttoniere--a collection of blooms, not just a single bloom for the lapel--once again a personal preference of style.

A good look at bride and bridesmaids bouquets..
Thanks to Michael over at Hooked on Photography for the images.

Green!

Anyone who knows or follows us, knows that I love green--see new logo, see old logo, see walls in office--you get the picture!
So to design this wedding was so much fun-not a lot of green flowers, but very cute bridesmaids dresses, short and flirty, perfect for our hot summer days--clean and crisp with the white and yellow!

Just cute.

And a sweet bride--this dress was absolutely gorgeous. Flowers featured--white and green hydrangea, roses, berries and freesia.

Green in the fall?

Speaking of budgets-- I met with this gorgeous bride a few weeks prior to her wedding-- we discussed all the "must have" elements - during the consultation, she very honestly let me know what she could afford.
As you can see by the photos, she got gorgeous flowers (even including some of her "must haves") and let the design staff come up with the best look for her. Her must haves included variegated lily grass, cymbidium orchids, and herbs.  I love the hair flowers for the bridesmaids.

Thanks for letting us  do our job!  These photos were generously provided by Britany Dawson photography.

More from the Bridal Extravaganza

A few more bouttonieres-- anything with berries is always a hit with the guys, not too frilly or fluffy!

One of our favorites in white- dendrobium orchid blossoms-

Green spider mums-- accented with berries and ladies mantle-- green is starting to feel as classic as white!

Lakeway Resort and Spa reception

This was a great reception that was designed last fall- remember the green shoes from earlier this week, they belonged to this bride.  A gorgeour palette of green and chocolate brown. The tables featured a combination of centerpieces--some tall, some low and all with multiple components.  This tall centerpiece featured bells of Ireland with floating candles and river rocks to complete the look.

The ever popular submerged green spiders with a  single cylinder of green apples-- another element in green.

An overview of the room-- this is a great BIG ballroom-- tall centerpieces  and hanging candles help make this space a little more intimate--along with about a gazillion candles!
