June bouquets

One of the great things about our design staff is the great diversity --
Here are a few bouquets that have hit the door over the past few weeks-
above one of my favorites--all white with pops of yellow--freesia, craspedia for the yellow--peonies, (surprisingly!)
hydrangea and... garden roses--talk about some great fragrance--loved.

Then there was this combination-- succulents, scabiosa pods, tweedia, veronica and stock--we couldn't stop talking about how cute this combination looked--

and this too. It is the bridesmaid to the bouquet above--all in white--stock, veronica, scabiosa, dusty miller and mint--so fresh!

St. Marys Cathedral Wedding!

There is something about a church wedding--maybe the traditions, maybe the built in formality and in this case a
gorgeous setting-the beautiful St. Mary's Cathedral in Austin, TX.

Another spring bridal bouquet--guess what--all white peonies!! We can't get enough of them!
Thanks to The Mill, photography studio for the images--
(did you know that is the name of the new collaboration between Melissa Glynn and Tyler Schmitt--2 of Austin's great photographers joining together!! Good Luck, you guys!)

The Knot Texas

Our feature in the current issue of The Knot Texas
Melissa and Stuart, May 2009.
Thanks to Barbara--
and my amazing design and delivery team!
This was one of my all time favorite weddings--from the bold, dynamic colors-the different textures in the flowers and the all around gorgeous location!

One of the images that didn't make the editorial cut--I love! Cute, funky hairflowers!

Cake, just because it looks pretty!

Just for Hayley-

We designed this bridal bouquet a few weeks ago for a friend of our family-- she had a page from a magazine torn out with a bouquet very similar to this for our inspiration-- filled with the most scrumptious peonies, miniature calla lilies, muscari, nerine, ranunucla and sweet peas-- hope you loved it as much as I loved designing it!

Pretty peony--pink and white.

Another gorgeous spring wedding at Lakeway Resort and Spa-
Barbara from Barbara's brides matched us with this bride--
just our kind, gorgeous flowers presented in a clean, modern look.
The bridal bouquet featured peonies in shades of pinks and whites with a touch of ranunuclas.

And check out these bridesmaids, so adorable with a burst of color in the flowers.

Pink shoes, I love colored bridal shoes--I hope it is a trend that becomes a classic tradition.
Thanks to The Nichols for the amazing images.

Peonies in May

We were happy to see these arrive in our shop! This bride told me she was going for the "easiest bride" ever badge.
I just want a wedding filled with white peonies, that's it!
No problem, enjoyed doing it for you!!
These smelled yummy.

Coral part 2

Last spring, this bouquet featured some of the first peonies that we received! This is one of my favorite bouquets of spring flowers-tulips,peony, stock, roses-all white!

The bridesmaids bouquets landed on the beverage station for the reception--a change from the "normal" cake table placement.

The butter colored stock accented with the ambience roses and finished with coral gerbera daisy and hypericum berries.

Boys and girls together!

Coral- what shade are you?

Flowers can be a great complement to a simple cake--the square cake has turned into a classic style.

Coral -- it is defined in so many shades--this is the one color that we insist on a swatch or paper swatch-I have seen it range any where from this muted shade to a brighter shade of almost red/orange.

The chairs have simple adornments--ribbons and flowers.

May's peonies

Peonies remain one of our most requested blooms! When in season, one of the most gorgeous blooms. Our bride's request was a full, fluffy bouquet of peonies--got it!

So beautiful--thanks to Vanessa for these gorgeous pro pics--always amazing!

The reception tables with some spectacular lighting and draping.
Thanks to Barbara for putting us all together!

Favorites for brides

Have I mentioned that we love peonies--no wonder, that 2 of our favorite bridal bouquets include peonies-the top one has a mix of white flowers--sweet peas, lisianthus, veronica, peony, hydrangea just to name a few!

Here we our design included stock, tulips, roses, geranium foliage and roses--both of the bouquets smelled divine!

Shades of pink-- you just can't go wrong--dahlia,sweet peas, roses, ranunucla--so sweet and romantic.

Smellivision

If you stopped by our booth at the Bridal Extravaganza you couldn't help but smell these fabulous blooms.  These are the most intoxicating garden roses--this is the first time we've had garden roses, big, fragrant  and fuschia.

And of course these peonies-- if you want peonies in Austin Tx-the last 2 weeks of May and the month of June. Yes, they are available at different times but I promise you, they will not be this glorious.

And one of the other favorites of the day--a combination of flowers in shades of whites and ivory--hydrangea, astilbe, sweet peas, freesia, peony and a few roses--it just doesn't get much better than this!

Pink peonies

Our bride really wanted pink flowers! There is nothing better in May/June than peonies-can you tell I love peonies--falls in line with my philosophy a few great flowers are much better than a hundred not great flowers!

The bridesmaids are wearing a very dark navy blue and carrying pink peonies-the bride has a combo of pink and white. The flower girl is carrying a pink rose pomander.

The images are from the awesomely (is that a word?) talented
This gorgeous lighting is from Ilios-- the lighting guys-
I'll be sharing more of this wedding this week.
