Floral frame

I had a blast collaborating with the bride and groom to come up with this floral frame featuring more than 1000 coral carnations.
They had hoped for a wall of flowers- the ceremony was originally planned for outdoors so I couldn't engineer a completed wall of flowers that would be freestanding and work within the budget- so we built a frame with the soft fabric.

We finished it with the petals along the bottom--this was beautiful in this room, but I think it would have been awesome in the outdoor area:( The weather did not permit the outdoor ceremony. I can't wait to see some pro images from this event!

Glass Oaks Ballroom, Renaissance Hotel

This ballroom is a recent addition to our wedding venues-it is the Glass Oaks Ballroom at
The Renaissance Hotel near the Arboretum. They have been hosting weddings about 2years now.
It has a very modern feel to it, especially with the hammered copper ceiling.

We complemented the interior decor with the gold pilsners filled with flowers in shades of orange/coral and yellow.

The bride chose dark brown linens to complement the yellow, orange and coral.
We built a very unique ceremony backdrop for this couple!
I'll post later today!
