Time flies....

I'm guilty, I've let this blog down-- we've been designing like crazy over here. I can't believe its been more than (gasp) 7 weeks since I've posted anything-- not even a tiny teaser photo.

I've thought about it often, just couldn't find a moment to coherently put the fingers to the keyboard--don't worry , our facebook is equally neglected, anything new over there is usually posted by an outside party! So don't worry, I'm going to be back--so many awesome events this spring and summer-- so stay tuned--thanks for your patience!

A few of our summer favorites!

Note: these images are not professional, trying to get a few snapshots to share with all of you!
Definitely one of my favorite elements from this summer, not to mention for a great bride!
This lovely was just waiting for a gorgeous cake to be placed in the middle. (There is a video over on our facebook page that shows its gorgeousness)

Yellow, yellow roses with a hint of coral--hello white pintuck linens.

A stunning head table, candles, flowers and all!

The tall design for some of the tables--look at those gorgeous coral charm peonies--some of the prettiest we've ever seen--just in time for the wedding!

And another favorite--suspended crystal column--love, love the elegant touch it brought to this country club ballroom!
I can't wait to see pro images--the video was amazing.

Spring weddings : first up Vintage Villas

One of our recent weddings from Vintage Villas-- this is by far one of our favorite and "signature" looks--
yards and yards of ribbon on the last row of ceremony chairs--admittedly so, this doesn't work everywhere, but here it looks great!

Just another gorgeous day at the lake!

The adorable wire cones, this time in shabby chic white--with colorful blooms and my new favorite item--
"the " crystal curtain. So, I saw this recently and absolutely had to have it, I think 3 across the back would be awesome with the soft crystal draping on the front. new. favorite.

Up close and personal with curtain-- I can think of so many places that I want to use this!

The Driskill wedding experience v3

Last few images from The Wedding Experience.... a gorgeous entry to the ballroom.

The elegance of candles, floral garland and soft gold satin linens flanking the entry.

Thanks for visiting with us.

The Driskill wedding experience v2.

Garlands of gypsophilia (aka babies breath) adorned the six chandeliers in the ballroom, with a dozen or so hanging candles. Could possibly be one of my favorite treatments of recent memory.

Hand crafted paper cones with yep, you got it , babies breath. It always gets a bad wrap, but done simply it can add a very pretty simple embellishment.

And don't forget, yards and yards of cream, ivory and soft gold ribbons--on the chandeliers, on the aisle...

The Driskill wedding experience!

A few months ago ( I know, its been a while) we participated in
The Driskill's wedding experience. It was a great afternoon. Along with Barbara from Barbara's brides, we designed all the florals for
The Ballroom. Our other partners in awesomeness included Lauren from The Pink Tulip, Tyler from The Mill Photography Studio, Alexia Gevalia gowns--and I know there were others?
The finished design was absolutely heavenly.
A huge thanks to my design and delivery team for making it look great!
The room featured a beautiful aisle--complete with runner, petals and ribbon draping and finished with these lush floral garlands cascading off the backs of the aisle chairs.
This same garland was repeated on the entry table and the fireplace mantle.
Huge thank you to Tyler--The Mill Photography Studio for the images.
