Sunshine in January!

Here are a few snapshots from the recent Diamond Domain Show-- (yes, I am already behind in blogging!)
We collaborated with Barbara from Barbaras brides to provide a few floral pieces for the "Charcoal Zest" reception room !
First up, a bright cheery cake display base for an adorable cake provided by Michelles Patisserie. Don't you love the cake table linen--looks like a wedding gown skirt--loved the entire display!

A little closer-- we worked with the yellow and orange palette finished with platinum/charcoal linens. Every detail was perfect--draped walls, beautiful lighting and fun, festive flowers. This was possibly one of the dreariest days, so the orange and yellow definitely added a little whimsy!

The dinner table--a collection of custom mirror boxes (my new favorite) filled with orange and yellow flowers and an explosion of oncidium orchids-- this was of course designed for a "wow" effect, but could be made into so many ideas.

An overall view--thanks to the team and always to Barbara-- it was great fun!

Summer time succulents

2010 brought us the opportunity to use alot of succulents--we loved them in bouquets and this bouquet was no exception.
We have made this version of orange and green a few times, each time just a little different to meet the brides vision.

I loved this sweet bouttoniere--a collection of blooms, not just a single bloom for the lapel--once again a personal preference of style.

A good look at bride and bridesmaids bouquets..
Thanks to Michael over at Hooked on Photography for the images.

Brand.new. website.

So excited--go check it out. Our new website is up-- www.bouquetsofaustin.com
Love, love, love it.
Thanks to all the photographers for supplying the images, so glad I am not a photographer--how in the world do you look at all those fabulous images and edit/make decisions.
Thanks to the incomparable Jennifer Braham at Brink Creative--she has literally transformed the look of Bouquets of Austin over the past year-she was the force behind the logo, brand and overall look.
And a special thanks to Britney, the tireless effort is beautiful, thanks for being a part of our team on a daily basis and conquering these projects. No way did I think this would be the end result of one of my crazy conversations--but blown away (in a good way!)

2010 Favorites!

One of my favorite weddings from summer 2010-- a very natural, gathered bouquet finished cascading jasmine vine.

The Bridesmaids-- designer's choice of summery, casual flowers in shades of whites to complement pink dresses.

Their smiles say it all!
Thanks to Katherine O'Brien photography for the images.

Cheers to 2010 and Happy New Year 2011!

Congratulations to all of our newly engaged couples...let the planning begin!
We look forward to hearing from you. We can't start 2011 without saying thanks to our 2010 brides, its been a blast--
we've built chuppahs, hung lanterns, oohed and aahed over gorgeous new blooms, giggled over family traditions and most of all loved every minute! Of course, I have to give a huge shout out to the best team in town-- the Bouquets of Austin front office, design and delivery team--with out them, I would be lost--they bring challenges, inspiration and laughs each and every day. I hope you enjoy your days with us as much as we enjoy each and every one of you. Wiht that, bring on 2011-- we will be hanging gorgeous fluttering butterflies, glamming up some of the most beautiful Austin spaces and of course having a little fun along the way. Let's get going--and my personal New Years resolution, blog a little more frequently :)
Cheers,
Stephanie
