Barton Creek Country Club reception

These golf tees were the perfect complement to the escort cards--we nestled them in wheat grass!

The head table--long and dramatic down the center of the room.

These centerpieces were simple but fun, sage green, orange, and champagne--

Barton Creek Country Club

We headed out to the recently enclosed pavillion at Barton Creek Country Club--
they really did a great job--right now it is the skating rink!

The large stately arrangements at the ceremony area featured teardrops of rose petals--

A little closer look at the teardrop rose petals--they were suspended in the arrangement for just a bit of fun!

Just hanging around!

We've been designing, delivering and decorating like crazy this fall!
One of the elements that we have in our inventory--paper lanterns--all colors!
These 50 lanterns are adding a little color to the ceiling at the adorable Mercury Hall!

The guys were here early in the afternoon before all the tables and accessories were put in place--
what a great addition of color!

The ceremony site at Mercury Hall--although these were tweaked a bit-- I love the drama of all of these lanterns!

Yves. St. Piaget garden rose

I just stumble upon these couple of images from a while ago--I am reminded how pretty
the yves st. piaget garden rose can be--lots and lots of fuschia at the request of the bride!

It provided a little color on a rainy afternoon.

Austin Country Club--summer rustic

A wedding we designed earlier this summer--with a touch of summer elegance--another take on purple.
I loved the organic runners with the brown accents--flowers in purples/greens/terracotta.

The cocktail tables draped in this gorgeous floorlength satin linen with a metal container filled with flowers and foliages.

The tall centerpieces--mostly branches with the hanging votives.

One of my favorites--hanging votives on the chandelier--the cake was displayed directly beneath--gorgeous!

The reasons.

The emotions in these images are the reason that we do what we do!
Some days it is tougher than others, but the minute I lay my eyes on a happy couple it reminds me of the pleasure this job brings me.

Green details....

The groom and groomsmen all sported white dendrobium orchid bouttonieres.

Flower girl--a sweet rose pomander accompanied by a special friend.

A simple but elegant cake--check out that gorgeous green lighting.
Thanks to Whitney Lee photography for the images.

Green!

Anyone who knows or follows us, knows that I love green--see new logo, see old logo, see walls in office--you get the picture!
So to design this wedding was so much fun-not a lot of green flowers, but very cute bridesmaids dresses, short and flirty, perfect for our hot summer days--clean and crisp with the white and yellow!

Just cute.

And a sweet bride--this dress was absolutely gorgeous. Flowers featured--white and green hydrangea, roses, berries and freesia.

Summer in Review!

To say purple has been popular this summer would be a gross understatement! We've had some gorgeous combinations--here's one from Villa Antonia--images from Jeff Loftin photography.

We've also seen alot of short, cute bridesmaids dresses--such a sweet moment-

I just loved this timeless photo--

Ribbons.....

This has turned out to be one of my personal favorite weddings of the summer. Growing up in the south, we definitely love our ribbon here! This delicate sweet ribbon treatment was displayed on the three of The Driskill's chandeliers--along with some bling and pomanders.

And of course, the blingy tree made an appearance--girls of the south--a touch of whimsy with elegance.

One of my favorite photos-- thanks to
Barbara of Barbarasbrides.com for connecting us with this bride,
to Tyler Schmitt, The Mill photography studio, for making what we do look its best.
These few images were featured over on Styleunveiled last week--thanks for the shout out!

Garden roses + peony

I love beautiful flowers! Garden roses, peony, cymbidium orchids, roses and sweet peas made up this extra girly pink bouquet- we designed this earlier this spring.

Along with these complementing centerpieces--the brides brother was in charge of picking them up from our shop and transporting them to the ceremony and reception. Mission accomplished!
Thanks to Danny C. photography for the images!

Scheduling appointments.

Thank you for your patience. We have had limited appointments in October but look forward to meeting with you soon.
A gentle reminder--we do not schedule appointments on Fridays and Saturdays, we are designing and delivering our weekend events.

Purple, coral and feathers!

An adorable centerpiece to go with yesterday's arbor decor-- simple but effective.
Yes, that is purple carnations in a fabric wrapped container accented with the trio of coral roses--

The sweetheart table- cascading phaelanopsis, feathers and all around prettiness.

How's this for a dessert and cake table- we worked off of an inspiration photo-turned out really gorgeous--looks like the outside brought in!

Fall arbor Villa Antonia

A little different look for the arbor at Villa Antonia--draped in eggplant chiffon and accented with orchid garlands--simple but dramatic.

We added just a touch of greenery-- the garlands fluttered quietly in the breeze.

I loved the "curtain" effect on the back--I can't wait to see the pro images-this should be a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony photos!
