Just a personal birthday wish to my nephew Keith! He has worked at Bouquets since his days in high school! He has done every single task at this design studio-- have a great day!

Looking for the sunshine

Just a few favorite bouquets in yellow on this cold April morning!
A collection of yellow miniature calla lilies accented with a platinum ribbon.

A combination of yellow flowers-- cream stock,yellow freesia, oncidium orchids, rannunucla,and crespedia-there could be a few more yellow elements!

This is one of my favorite photos of all time--it was taken by Pam Hults of ALaVoie Photography.
This is a composite rose - it is called composite because it is made of a single rose with the petals of 40 roses added around it-- this is truly a labor of love.
I created this a couple of years ago and it was carried by a bride. It took myself and my niece about 4hours to make this one bouquet.

Personal touches

One of the frequently asked questions: Can I provide my own-- containers,candles, ribbon,beads, family heirloom?
For us, the answer is yes! We have brides who provide many personal touches and we incorporate them into the overall design.
These mosaic containers and table runners were provided by the bride--we, of course, have some guidelines but generally we can work with your items.

This runner was made by a brides family member, so we made sure it was placed on a prominent table.

This is another favorite photo--it was provided Studio563.
It has such a timeless feel to it-- the blue accents are handmade beaded flowers that the bride made and provided to us.The groom's bouttoniere also had the same little blue accent.

The bride brought these to us a few days prior to the wedding so that we could incorporate them into the bouquet-- for family heirlooms that will be attached re: handkerchiefs,rosaries, Bibles, rings- we will attach those on the wedding day, we do not want to be responsible for items that are irreplacable.

Bouttonieres

Here are a few bouttonieres that we created for a recent bridal extravaganza-

The yellow one has oncidium orchids and dusty miller- the pink one is mokara orchids with a galex leaf.
This is a cluster of dark blue delphinium with berzillia berries.
Here is a single miniature cymbidium orchid.

Simple is best when it comes to the men's flowers.

Appointments?

We have alot of requests for Saturday appointments, as we get into the spring wedding season our Saturday appointments get very limited.  Our design staff (who you also meet with to discuss your wedding flowers) are an important member of our delivery staff.  We usually reserve Saturdays for any last minute items that need to be focused on for that days deliveries, Fridays also become limited as that is the day that most of the design work is created-so thanks for your patience and remember we offer evening and Sunday appointments to assist your schedules.

Bring on the color

 

Another outdoor ceremony that we designed recently at Vintage Villas gazebo area. We love these new black planters that were placed under the gazebo-they are big enough to have a presence but do not block the view.  The aisle featured shepherds hooks with small bowls of mized flowers in the bright,bold color combo of orange,pink and green!

Arbors and gazebos

 

The Villa Antonia arbor/pergola-- this is one of the most versatile structures that we work with-this is the  simplest presentation- white hydrangea and smillax loosely woven on the front of the structure. You can literally go crazy here, more foliage, more flowers, hanging candles/flowers, fabrics. The choices are unlimited.

 

The Plantation House gazebo-again a very pretty structure. The swag in the center is a semipermanent fixture-we just added the fresh flowers. Lilies and roses this time along with the aisle petals and chair markers. You can go crazy here also, garlands, fabrics, freestanding arrangements have all been used here. This is the Villa Antona arbor again- this time accented with a few clusters of flowers, on both the front area and the back area- aisle runner, petals and chair flowers completed this  ceremony area.

 

In honor of Beckys 4th anniversary, this is the place she tied the knot. This is the ceremony area at The Shoreline Grill- near the Four Seasons and Ladybird Lake. For Becky's wedding it was covered in smilax and purple flowers. The fabric draping is one of the most popular looks we create here, primarily because of the size of the structure, it takes a lot of flowers to  show up on this structure!
